Meet Diana Sam – A Proud Ni-Vanuatu Mother and Artisan Hello, my name is Diana Sam, and I am a proud mother and local artisan from Vanuatu. Through Mama's Handicraft, I create and sell handmade traditional products while also supporting and promoting the beautiful work of mothers from Vanuatu's outer islands. Every item you see here is carefully handcrafted using natural local materials such as pandanus, coconut shell, bamboo, wood, and woven fibres. Our collection includes woven baskets, handbags, fans, necklaces, traditional decorations, carved wooden items, miniature canoes, shell jewellery, and many other unique island crafts. When you purchase from us, you are not just buying a souvenir—you are taking home a genuine piece of Vanuatu's culture and helping local mothers earn an income to support their families. Many of these women live in remote islands where opportunities are limited, and your support helps preserve our traditional weaving, carving, and crafting skills for future generations. Every handcrafted piece tells a story of our islands, our culture, and the love and dedication of the women who made it. And i also give all the best in whatever product i made One way is we help other producers, we pay their products to make help them in financial way. Its not about money but its about unity and what services weh give to the tourists and locals.
