ABOUT TOUSONG & CO AELAN CREATIONS Tousong & Co, also known as Aelan Creations, is a proudly Ni-Vanuatu handicraft business creating decorative wall pieces, baskets, and home accessories made from locally sourced pandanus. Each piece showcases traditional weaving techniques with a modern aesthetic, reflecting the rich cultural identity of Vanuatu. We use traditional weaving knowledge to create innovative products such as mirrors, light shades, wall decorations, laundry baskets, fruit bowls, trays, table runners, baskets, and jewelry. Beyond making a living from our talents and skills, we are committed to passing this knowledge on to the next generation, ensuring that both culture and craftsmanship continue to thrive. INITIATIVES & PLANS Featured in the "Beyond the Pandemic" exhibition and continues to promote cultural heritage through innovative design using natural, sustainable materials. We are now beginning to rebuild our handicraft house, which was destroyed by the twin cyclones, restoring a space for artisans to collaborate and promote.
